95% of energy use in Indonesia is still dominated by fossil fuels. One way to meet the increasing needs using renewable energy.. The most easily available and popular today Solar Power Plants. Currently, solar power plants have various types maximize their potential, one which hybrid PV-genset system. This research was conducted at SMKN Central Java has a plant pv-genset system connecting output on grid with generators parallel without battery backup. study carried out reviewing fuel consumption generator through two scenarios backup HOMER Grid software run simulation entering required parameters. results this indicate that 61.62% greater savings side 61.87% more efficient cost operate when blackout occurs.
